Terms & Conditions
Last Updated: July 2026
1. The Contract & Agreement
These Terms and Conditions govern all bookings made with Jodha Holidays (herein referred to as 'the Company', 'we', 'our', or 'us'), a registered travel agency operating from Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. By paying a booking deposit or sending a written confirmation, you enter into a legally binding contract with us subject to these conditions.
Jodha Holidays acts as a curator, booking agent, and service facilitator. We coordinate with third-party service providers (such as heritage hotels, palace properties, vehicle coordinators, tour guides, and safari desks) to execute your custom-designed tour itinerary.
2. Booking Deposit & Price Lock-In
To initiate official bookings for hotel rooms, national park safari slots, local guides, and private vehicle allocations, an advance payment of 30% of the total quoted price is required.
For bookings that fall within peak travel seasons (including but not limited to Diwali, Pushkar Fair, Christmas, and New Year) or involve ultra-luxury hotels (such as Taj, Oberoi, or Aman properties), a higher deposit of up to 50% or full pre-payment may be required as dictated by hotel-specific booking policies.
Prices quoted are locked in only upon clearance of the booking deposit. Prior to receipt of deposit, rates are subject to change based on hotel seasonal tariff changes and fuel pricing fluctuations.
3. Final Balance Payments
The remaining 70% balance of the total package cost must be paid no later than 15 days prior to your scheduled arrival date, unless an alternative payment timeline is explicitly confirmed in writing by the Company.
If the final balance payment is not received in full by the due date, we reserve the right to treat the booking as cancelled by the client. In such circumstances, all paid booking deposits will be forfeited, hotel blocks will be released, and cancellation fees will apply.
4. Cancellation & Refund Policy
All cancellations must be requested in writing by the primary traveler and sent to our official email address (info@jodhaholidays.com). Cancellation charges are calculated from the day written notice is received by us.
Cancellation 30+ days prior to arrival: The booking deposit will be refunded in full, minus a service handling fee of 5% of the total package value, and any non-refundable deposits charged by palace hotels, flight carriers, or government safari portals (e.g., Ranthambore or Kaziranga park permits are 100% non-refundable).
Cancellation 15 to 29 days prior to arrival: The 30% booking deposit is completely forfeited. Any additional payments made will be refunded.
Cancellation less than 15 days prior to arrival: 100% of the total tour package price is non-refundable, and no refund claims will be entertained.
Approved refunds will be processed via the original payment route within 15 to 30 working days from the date of cancellation approval.
5. Custom Modifications & Mid-Trip Alterations
We offer unlimited itinerary modifications prior to booking finalization. Post-booking, any modifications requested by the client are subject to availability and may incur administration fees along with hotel price differences.
Mid-trip requests for route adjustments, hotel changes, or vehicle mileage extensions must be coordinated with our Jaipur concierge desk. Any supplementary charges for hotels, fuel, toll taxes, or entry permits arising from mid-trip modifications must be settled immediately by the client.
6. Passports, Visas, and Travel Insurance
It is the sole responsibility of the client to possess a passport valid for at least 6 months beyond the date of departure and to obtain necessary tourist visas (including Indian e-Tourist Visas) prior to travel.
We strongly advise all travelers to purchase comprehensive travel insurance at the time of booking. The insurance policy should cover trip cancellation, medical emergencies, emergency medical evacuation, and loss of personal baggage.
7. Force Majeure & Limitation of Liability
Jodha Holidays shall not be held liable or responsible for any delays, itinerary changes, loss, injury, or cancellation of services caused by 'Force Majeure' events, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of God, extreme weather anomalies, flight or train delays, road closures, strikes, pandemics, government restrictions, war, or civil unrest.
The Company is not liable for personal injury, illness, property damage, or theft occurring during the tour. Our maximum liability under any circumstances is strictly limited to the total amount paid by the client for the tour package.
8. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
This contract, its terms, and any disputes arising from our services shall be governed exclusively by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India.
Any legal disputes, arbitrations, or claims arising out of or in connection with the travel services booked with Jodha Holidays shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India.
